It has to be said, first and foremost, that Skip Marley should have had a longer cameo on the song. It would have worked well because the patois of a reggae/dancehall artist evokes a bravado that fits quite seamlessly with the galvanizing energy of the song. The song is meant to be conscious and message-driven and it very much is but its also a high, energy dance song. It feels like it sits somewhere between Daft Punk and Lady Gaga. I can get behind this.
