This song is so unique and different. It really stands out when you hear it, with its avant garde style and edgy vibe. This is like a new-age synth, R&B record, taking bits and pieces from the 80s but adding such a futuristic element to it. Vocally, KWAYE is similar to a Seal, if we’re going old school, and Khalid, from a more contemporary perspective. Another really cool feature of this track is the talking style of singing that KWAYE uses in parts of this song. It definitely adds to the aforementioned edginess of the song. This is just a really, really cool song.
